C. Michael Palmer

Mr. Palmer is vice president of Crude Supply and Logistics. He was appointed to his current position on June 1, 2010. He previously served as Crude Supply and Logistics director since February 2010. He has been with Marathon for 34 years.

In 2007, following Marathon's acquisition of Western Oil Sands Inc., Mr. Palmer was named senior vice president, Oil Sands Operations and Commercial Activities, for Marathon Oil Canada Corporation. Since joining the Company, he has been named to a variety of management positions of increasing responsibility, including manager of Business Development for Marathon Petroleum Company LLC in 1999, manager of Crude Oil Purchases and Sales in 1993 and manager of Crude Oil Scheduling in 1988. He began his career as a financial analyst in the Company's Treasury organization. 

Mr. Palmer graduated with highest distinction from Indiana University's Kelley School of Business with a bachelor of science degree in finance.
