Gas-to-Fuels

Marathon is developing a proprietary gas-conversion process that is more carbon-efficient than conventional gas-conversion processes. This technology bypasses conventional intermediate syngas technology, which is relatively expensive and inefficient, to produce high-quality premium fuels.

The Company's proprietary, patented GTF^TM process has been demonstrated to convert natural gas directly into high-value transportation fuels at a 10 barrel per day plant. The Company expects to decide within the next year whether to commercialize the GTF process.
