Production: Marathon's production operations supply liquid hydrocarbons and natural gas to meet growing world energy demand. Worldwide production operations are currently focused in the U.S., Africa and Europe. Marathon's geographic footprint expanded in 2007 to include ownership interests in Canadian oil sands leases that are under study for possible development using in-situ methods of extraction.
